It is the 14th career victory for this Kentucky native and his second win this season. Closing in on the age of 50, Travelers Championship Winner, wearing Trion:Z Palette, finished the tournament with a record of 258.
With this victory, he takes the lead in the FedEx Cup standings and has the most wins on tour since June 1, 2008. He has now accomplished his seventh top-10 of 2009. He plans on winning 20 before he retires.
On the other side of the world, teenage Ryo Ishikawa wins the Mizuno Open wearing a Colantotte Necklace, parent products to Trion:Z. This win qualifies Ishikawa for the British Open next month. Closing out the final round with a birdie to finish at 13 under and 3 shots ahead of his New Zealand competitor, giving Ishikawa the 3rd win of his career and 2nd as a pro at the age of only 17.
