The Carlsbad-based leader in magnetic/negative-ionic sportswear, Colantotte International Inc. its market leading brand Trion:Z and PGA Tour Pro Rory Mcilroy have announced the signing of a multi-year contract marking the company’s 6th consecutive year with PGA Tour presence.
Mcilroy, already a resident in the world’s top 10, has achieved a strong start to the season with 1 top 5 and 1 top 10 in his first two starts of 2010 after placing 6th at the 2010 Dubai Desert Classic. The promising young player from Northern Ireland has captured the hearts of golf fans from across the world due to his dynamic and exciting style of play, Mcilroy’s golf skills have been compared to veterans playing for decades. “He plays like he’s been out there for 20 years,” said Paul Hendry, Managing Director at Trion:Z UK. “He’s the perfect face for Trion:Z- young, charismatic, and outstanding at his game,” said Hendry.
The Northern Ireland native, Mcilroy has demonstrated profound commitment to the game, with merely 10 years of playing experience. “He can hit a variety of shots on command- high, low, he can draw the ball, cut the ball- Rory can do it all,” said Paul Hendry. He proved this with his last years placements 4 top 5 finishes and 3 top 10 finishes. Making 10 of 11 cuts in 2009, Mcilroy tied for 3rd at the PGA Championship.
